The Samtec TSM-105-02-L-DV-A-TR is a .100" (2.54mm) pitch surface mount terminal strip header. It features 10 positions in a double row configuration, with unshrouded male square posts. The contact system uses 0.025" square posts with a 10µ" gold plating on the post and matte tin on the tail, over a phosphor bronze base. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) rated UL94 V-0.
Electrical ratings include a voltage rating of 495 VAC when mated with BCS sockets and 475 VAC with SSM sockets. Current ratings per pin vary depending on the mating socket, ranging from 4.1 A to 5.4 A (2 positions powered). The connector supports data rates up to 8 Gbps. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C with gold plating.
This header is designed for surface mount soldering and is available in tape and reel packaging (175 parts per reel). It includes a board guide feature for alignment. It is an Extended Life Product (ELP), passing 10-year mixed flowing gas tests and high mating cycles. It is also SET (Severe Environment Testing) qualified, meeting MIL-DTL-55302 standards. Typical applications include board-to-board and cable connections.
