The contacts are phosphor bronze with 30µ" gold plating on the post and matte tin on the tail, over 50µ" nickel underplating. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) rated UL94 V-0.

 

This header is designed for surface mount soldering and includes a pick-and-place feature for automated assembly. It supports board-to-board or cable mating with Samtec socket series such as SSW, SSM, BCS, and HLE. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C with gold plating. Electrical ratings include up to 5.4A per pin (mated with SSM) and voltage ratings up to 495 VAC (mated with BCS). The part supports data rates up to 8 Gbps.

 

Packaging is in tubes with 57 pieces per tube. The part is lead-free solderable and RoHS3 compliant (unverified). It is an Extended Life Product (ELP) with high mating cycle durability (250 to 2,500 cycles) and passes 10-year Mixed Flowing Gas testing.
