The TSM-104-01-S-DV-P is a surface mount pin header from Samtec's TSM series, designed for board-to-board or cable applications. It features 8 positions arranged in 2 rows with a 2.54mm pitch. The contacts are phosphor bronze with 30 µ" gold plating on the post and matte tin on the tail, providing reliable connectivity and corrosion resistance. The header has a post height of 5.84 mm (0.230") and an insulation height of 2.54 mm, with a black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) insulator rated UL94 V-0.
Electrically, the header supports up to 5.4 A per pin when mated with Samtec SSM sockets, and up to 495 VAC when mated with BCS sockets. It is capable of 8 Gbps data rates and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with gold plating. The component is lead-free solderable and features a pick-and-place pad for automated assembly. It is qualified as an Extended Life Product (ELP) with 250 to 2,500 mating cycles and is SET (Severe Environment Testing) qualified.
The header is supplied in a tube of 57 parts, with tape & reel packaging available as an option. It is RoHS compliant (unverified) and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 (unlimited). The design supports multiple Samtec socket mates including SSW, SSM, BCS, and HLE, making it versatile for various interconnect needs.
