TSM-104-01-L-SV

The Samtec TSM-104-01-L-SV is a high-performance surface mount strip header designed for board-to-board and cable-to-board applications. This 4-position, single-row connector features a 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch and a 0.025" (0.635mm) square post contact system. The header is unshrouded with a push-pull fastening type and is made with a black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) insulator. Contacts are phosphor bronze with 10µin gold plating on the post and matte tin on the tail, over a 50µin nickel underplate.

Electrical performance includes a maximum data rate of 8 Gbps and current ratings ranging from 4.1A to 5.4A per pin depending on the mating socket. Voltage ratings are up to 495 VAC when mated with BCS series sockets. The TSM-104-01-L-SV meets UL94 V-0 flammability rating and is SET qualified for severe environment testing, aligning with MIL-DTL-55302. It is also an Extended Life Product, passing 10-year mixed flowing gas tests and high mating cycles (250 to 2,500).

The connector is surface mount terminated with solder, and is supplied in tube packaging with a standard quantity of 57 pieces per tube. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C for gold-plated versions. This part is RoHS3 compliant (unverified) and lead-free solderable. The -L plating option specifies 10µin gold on post and matte tin on tail.
