The Samtec TSM-104-01-L-DH-A is a 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch surface mount terminal strip. It features 8 positions in 2 rows with a right angle orientation, designed for board-to-board or cable applications. The insulator is black Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The phosphor bronze contacts are tin plated over 50 µ" nickel and are rated for operating temperatures from -55°C to +125°C.
This header is rated for up to 8 Gbps performance and supports current ratings between 4.1A and 5.4A depending on the mating connector. The voltage rating is 495 VAC when mated with the BCS connector. The post height is 5.84mm (0.230"). A board guide feature is included for alignment during assembly.
The component is lead-free solderable and is available in bulk packaging. Alternative tape and reel packaging options exist with part number suffixes -TR or -FR. The TSM series is an Extended Life Product (ELP) with high mating cycle capability and is Severe Environment Testing (SET) qualified.
