The Samtec TSM-103-01-S-SH-K-TR is a surface mount right angle unshrouded header from the TSM series. It has 3 positions arranged in a single row with a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch. The header features male square pins with a post height of 5.84mm (0.230") and is designed for board-to-board or cable applications.
The contact material is phosphor bronze with a mating finish of 30µin gold and a tail finish of matte tin. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a flammability rating of UL94 V-0. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C for gold plated versions.
Voltage ratings depend on the mating connector: 495 VAC when mated with BCS series, and 475 VAC when mated with SSM series. Current ratings per pin are 4.7 A with SSW, 5.4 A with SSM, 4.1 A with HLE, and 5.0 A with BCS (2 positions powered). The header is rated for up to 8 Gbps performance and is SET qualified for severe environment testing.
This version is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard package quantity of 450 pieces. It includes a pick and place feature for automated assembly. The part is lead-free solderable and RoHS compliant (unverified).
