The Samtec TSM-102-02-S-DV is a surface mount strip header from the TSM series. It features 4 positions arranged in 2 rows at a 2.54mm (0.100in) pitch, with a vertical orientation. The unshrouded header uses 0.025in square phosphor bronze male pins with a 30µin gold plating on the mating post and matte tin on the termination tail. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
This connector is rated for up to 8 Gbps performance, with a current rating of 5.4A per pin when mated with an SSM socket, and voltage ratings of 475 VAC (with SSM) or 495 VAC (with BCS). The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C for gold-plated versions. It is lead-free solderable and qualified for Severe Environment Testing (SET), aligning with MIL-DTL-55302.
The header is designed for surface mount soldering and is packaged in bulk. It mates with a variety of Samtec sockets including SSW, SSQ, SSM, BSW, ESW, ESQ, BCS, SLW, CES, and HLE. The post height is 8.13mm (0.320in), which is optimized for mating with the SSM-DH socket. The product is an Extended Life Product (ELP) with 250 to 2,500 mating cycles.
