This header is designed for surface mount soldering and is supplied in tape and reel packaging (325 pieces per reel). It supports up to 8 Gbps data rate and is qualified for severe environment testing per MIL-DTL-55302. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C with gold plating.

As an Extended Life Product, it passes 10-year mixed flowing gas testing and achieves high mating cycles. The 5.84mm post height mates with various Samtec socket series such as SSW, BCS, and SSM.
