The Texas Instruments TSC2006IRTJT is a highly integrated, ultralow-power touch screen controller designed for power-sensitive, handheld applications. It features a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter for resistive touch screens and operates with a supply voltage range of 1.2V to 3.6V, making it ideal for single-cell battery-powered devices.
This controller supports a 4-wire resistive touch screen interface and utilizes a high-speed SPI-compatible interface for communication. Key features include register-based programmability for 10-bit or 12-bit resolution, internal detection of screen touch, and auto power-down control to further conserve energy.
