The Texas Instruments TSB41LV03PFP is a three-port cable transceiver and arbiter designed for IEEE 1394a applications. This device fully supports the provisions of the IEEE 1394-1995 standard and the 1394a-2000 supplement, ensuring interoperability with FireWire and i.LINK implementations.
It provides three fully compliant 1394a-2000 cable ports operating at 100, 200, or 400 Megabits per second. Key features include connection debounce, arbitrated short reset, multispeed concatenation, and arbitration acceleration. The transceiver also incorporates power-down features for energy conservation in battery-powered applications, such as automatic device power down during suspend and inactive port power down.
