This transceiver features two drivers and two receivers, operating at data signaling rates up to 250 kbit/s. It includes ±15 kV ESD protection on the bus pins. The device supports a wide supply voltage range from 3V to 5.5V and accepts 5V logic input with a 3.3V supply. Flexible power management options are available, including an auto-powerdown feature that reduces standby current to 1 μA when the serial port is inactive.
