This transceiver supports data rates up to 120Kbps and features two drivers and two receivers.
Each receiver converts RS-232 inputs to 5V TTL/CMOS levels, with typical thresholds of 1.3V and hysteresis of 0.5V, capable of accepting ±30V inputs. The drivers convert TTL/CMOS input levels into RS-232 levels. The device is specified for an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
