Operating from a single 5V supply, the TRS202IPWR utilizes an internal charge pump and four external capacitors (typically 0.1µF) to achieve its voltage levels. It supports data signaling rates up to 120 kbit/s and a maximum driver output slew rate of 30 V/µs. The device features two line drivers and two line receivers, offering full duplex communication.

 

This component is suitable for battery-powered systems, PDAs, notebooks, laptops, and other hand-held equipment requiring reliable RS-232 communication. It is supplied in a 16-TSSOP surface mount package.
