The Traco Power TRN 3-4813 is a 3W fully regulated DC-DC converter from the TRN 3 Series. It provides a single isolated output of 15V at 200mA from a wide 2:1 input voltage range of 36 to 75 VDC (48V nominal). With an efficiency of 83%, this converter is designed for reliable operation in space-constrained ITE (commercial) applications.
Key electrical features include 1600 VDC input-to-output isolation (tested for 60 seconds), short circuit protection, and no minimum load requirement. The input incorporates an internal capacitor filter and a recommended 315 mA slow blow fuse. Typical no-load input current is 12 mA, and reflected ripple current is 50 mA p-p.
