The Qorvo TQP5523 is a high-power RF Power Amplifier Module suitable for WLAN applications. It operates across a frequency range of 4.9 to 5.925 GHz, delivering a typical output power of 31 dBm and a gain of 32 dB.
This module features an internally matched 3-stage PA, compensated DC biasing circuit, and an output power detector. Its architecture and interface are optimized for stringent EVM requirements of next-generation 802.11.ac WLAN devices. The PA module includes chipset logic compatible control voltages that draw very low current, facilitating ease of use and compatibility with current and future transceiver generations.
With optimized power dissipation, the TQP5523 is well-suited for implementation into next-generation MIMO configurations and can operate with or without digital pre-distortion (DPD). The amplifier module is assembled in a compact 4.0 x 4.0 x 0.85 mm 20-pin QFN package, providing outstanding stable performance across temperature and voltage ranges.
