The TriQuint Semiconductor TQ5635 is a CDMA mixer designed for use in the Korea CDMA PCS bands, operating between 1840 and 1870 MHz. This device features a single 3.0 V operation and offers adjustable gain, IP3, and current control through external components. The integrated LNA provides over 15 dB of gain with low noise figure and excellent IP3. The mixer itself boasts very high IP3 and allows for external adjustment of gain, IP3, and current. With an external LO tuning inductor, IF frequencies ranging from 85 to 200 MHz can be utilized.
The TQ5635 is housed in a compact 3x3 mm, 16-pin leadless plastic QFN package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications like PCS band mobile phones. Its excellent RF performance combined with low current consumption and a small package makes it an ideal choice for wireless data applications.
Key electrical characteristics include a typical gain of 24.5 dB, a noise figure of 2 dB, and an input IP3 of -4.75 dBm. The device is designed for low current operation and requires few external components for full functionality.
