The TPSMF4L15A is a unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse Inc., designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 15V and a clamping voltage of 24.4V at a peak pulse current of 16.4A (10/1000µs waveform). The device offers 400W peak pulse power dissipation under 10/1000µs conditions and 2000W under 8/20µs conditions.
This TVS diode is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications and provides ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact) per IEC 61000-4-2. It has a fast response time of less than 1.0ns from 0V to breakdown voltage minimum. The device is housed in a surface-mount SOD-123FL package with flat leads, suitable for automated assembly.
The TPSMF4L15A is ideal for protecting portable devices, hard drives, notebooks, VCC buses, POS terminals, SSDs, power supplies, monitors, and other vulnerable circuits in consumer and automotive electronics. It is halogen-free, RoHS3 compliant, and lead-free (Pb-free E3).
