The TPSMB36CA is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It offers a reverse standoff voltage of 30.8V and a clamping voltage of 49.9V, with a peak pulse current capability of 12.2A (10/1000µs waveform) and a peak pulse power of 600W. The device features fast response time typically less than 1 ns and provides ESD protection up to 30 kV (air) and 30 kV (contact) per IEC 61000-4-2.
This TVS diode is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications, halogen-free, RoHS compliant, and Pb-free E3. It is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package with MSL Level 1 and UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 175°C.
