The TPSMA6L64A is a 600W unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 64V and a maximum clamping voltage of 103V at a peak pulse current of 5.9A (10/1000µs waveform). The device can handle a peak forward surge current of 60A (8.3ms single half sine wave).
This TVS diode uses Zener technology and is AEC-Q101 qualified for high reliability and automotive applications. It is housed in a low-profile DO-221AC (SMA Flat Leads) surface mount package, which offers the same electrical performance as SMB packages but with a height of less than 1.1mm. The operating junction temperature range is -50°C to 150°C.
The TPSMA6L64A is suitable for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. It is RoHS3 compliant and halogen free.
