The Littelfuse TPSMA6L18A is a 600W unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by load dump and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 18V and a maximum clamping voltage of 29.2V at a peak pulse current of 20.6A.
This TVS diode is automotive grade and AEC Q101 qualified, making it suitable for high-reliability applications in automotive and industrial environments. It offers IEC-61000-4-2 ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact). The device is packaged in a low-profile DO-221AC (SMA flat leads) surface mount package with a height of less than 1.1mm, providing compatibility with standard SMA and SMB footprints.
