The Vishay Dale TPSMA20AHE3_B/H is a surface-mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for high-reliability applications. It provides robust protection against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lightning strikes, making it suitable for ICs, MOSFETs, and signal lines in automotive, consumer, computer, industrial, and telecommunication systems.
Key electrical characteristics include a peak pulse power of 400W with a 10/1000 μs waveform, a nominal working voltage of 17.1V, and a breakdown voltage of 27.7V. The device features a maximum instantaneous forward voltage of 3.5V at 25A and a peak forward surge current of 40A for an 8.3 ms single half sine-wave.
