TPS65200YFFR

The Texas Instruments TPS65200YFFR is a multi-channel PMIC designed for Li-Ion and Li-Polymer battery packs. This device integrates a battery switching charger, a WLED driver, and a current shunt monitor into a single package.

Key electrical specifications include a charge current of up to 1.25A, with high-accuracy voltage and current regulation. The input current regulation accuracy is ±5% (at 100 mA, 500 mA), and charge voltage regulation accuracy is ±0.5% (at 25°C) and ±1% (0 - 125°C). Charge current regulation accuracy is ±5%.

Programmable features are accessible via an I²C interface operating up to 400 Kbps, allowing control over input current, fast-charge/termination current, charge voltage (3.5 V to 4.44 V), and safety timer. This high-efficiency charger operates with a synchronous fixed-frequency PWM controller at 3 MHz. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C. The TPS65200YFFR is supplied in a 36-DSBGA (2.63x2.46) surface mount package.
