The Texas Instruments TPS65120RGTR is a single-inductor, quadruple-output power supply IC specifically designed for amorphous-silicon (a-Si) and low-temperature poly-silicon (LTPS) TFT-LCD displays. It efficiently generates the necessary voltages using a compact, single-inductor architecture.
The device accepts an input voltage range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V. It provides a main output (VMAIN) adjustable from 3.0 V to 5.6 V with a current capability of 25 mA, post-regulated for low ripple (5mV PP). Additionally, it offers a positive output (VGH) adjustable up to 20 V/2 mA and a negative output (VGL) adjustable down to -18 V/2 mA, both with ±3% typical accuracy.
