The device features a 2-A output current on the power path linear charger and a 1.5-A maximum charge current. It includes three step-down converters with fixed-frequency operation, adjustable or fixed output voltage, and up to 1.5 A of output current per converter. The input voltage range for these converters is 2.8 V to 6.3 V.

 

Additionally, the TPS65072RSLR incorporates two LDOs with fixed output voltage and dynamic voltage scaling on LDO2. These LDOs have a quiescent current of 20 µA and a maximum output current of 200 mA, with an input voltage range from 1.8 V to 6.3 V. A wLED boost converter with internal dimming using I2C is also included, capable of driving up to 2x10 LEDs.

 

The TPS65072RSLR is supplied in a 48-VQFN (6x6 mm) package and operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Its features include communication control, power good indication, and power sequencing.
