The Texas Instruments TPS65013RGZR is a versatile multi-channel PMIC suitable for single-cell Li-Ion or Li-Polymer battery applications. It integrates a linear charger with dual input ports for USB or wall plug charging, supporting 100-mA and 500-mA USB requirements. The device includes two DC/DC step-down converters: one capable of 1-A for I/O and peripheral components (VMAIN) with 95% efficiency, and another 400-mA converter for the processor core (VCORE) with 90% efficiency. Additionally, it features two 200-mA LDOs for I/O and peripheral components, with LDO enable via an I²C bus. The I²C interface supports 100-kHz and 400-kHz operation. A LOW_PWR pin allows for lowering or disabling the processor core supply voltage in deep sleep modes. The TPS65013RGZR operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and comes in a 48-VQFN (7x7 mm) package. Its configurability options include hardware and software settings, with features like power good and power sequencing.
