The Texas Instruments TPS3809K33DBVR is a 3-pin voltage supervisor IC from the TPS3809 family. It is designed to provide circuit initialization and timing supervision, primarily for DSPs and processor-based systems. This device features a fixed sense-threshold voltage of 2.93V, monitored by a single channel.

During power-on, the RESET output is asserted when the supply voltage (VDD) rises above 1.1V. The supervisory circuit then monitors VDD and maintains the RESET active as long as VDD remains below the threshold voltage (VIT). An internal timer provides a delay of 200 ms after VDD has risen above the threshold before the output returns to the inactive state, ensuring proper system reset. When the supply voltage drops below the threshold, the output becomes active (low) again.

The TPS3809K33DBVR operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It is available in a 3-pin SOT-23 package, suitable for surface mount applications. The device requires no external components for its operation. Its typical supply current is 9 mA.
