The Texas Instruments TPS2561ADRCR is a dual-channel, N-channel power distribution switch designed for applications requiring precise current limiting or handling heavy capacitive loads and short circuits. Each channel offers an adjustable current limit ranging from 250 mA to 2.8 A, set via an external resistor.
This device operates within a voltage range of 2.5 V to 6.5 V and features two 44 mΩ high-side MOSFETs. It includes features like slew rate control to minimize current surges during turn-on/off, a fast overcurrent response of 3.5 µs (typ), and a maximum standby supply current of 2 µA.
