The Texas Instruments TPS2383PM is a dedicated Power over Ethernet (PoE) controller designed to manage power delivery according to the IEEE 802.3af standard. This device features 8 channels, enabling it to support multiple PoE ports within a system. It operates with a voltage range of 44V to 57V and is capable of delivering up to 15.4W per port.

Key electrical features include a standard slave I2C serial interface for control and configuration, 5-bit serial address selectability, and support for both resistor and capacitive discovery methods for legacy and compliant loads.
