The TPS2211 is a fully integrated power interface switch designed for single-slot PC Card applications. It provides VCC and Vpp switching, compatible with parallel PCMCIA controllers from various manufacturers.
Key features include low rDS(on) for both 5-V and 3.3-V VCC switches, ensuring efficient power delivery. The device supports 3.3-V, 5-V, and 12-V PC Cards, with the 12-V supply capable of being disabled during flash programming.
Integrated short-circuit and thermal protection enhance reliability and reduce component count by eliminating the need for external fuses. The TPS2211 is available in a space-saving 16-pin SSOP package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
This power switch is suitable for end equipment such as notebook computers, desktop computers, PDAs, digital cameras, and bar-code scanners.
