The TPD4S009DBVR is a four-channel TVS diode array from Texas Instruments designed for electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection on high-speed differential interfaces. It provides ±8kV contact ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 and 2.5A surge protection per IEC 61000-4-5.
With a low typical IO capacitance of 0.8 pF and ultra-low matching capacitance between differential pairs, it supports data rates exceeding 4 GHz. The device features a 5.5V reverse standoff voltage, 9V minimum breakdown voltage, and 20V clamping voltage. Dynamic resistance is 1.1Ω typical, and leakage current is 100 nA maximum.
This diode array is suitable for Ethernet, HDMI 1.4/1.3, LVDS, SATA/PCIe, and USB 2.0 interfaces. It is offered in a SOT-23-6 package (also available in SC70-6, USON, VSSOP) with surface mount mounting. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
The device includes an Ioff feature and supports rail-to-rail steering topology. Power line protection is provided.
