The C&K Components TPA411G is a Multidirection SMT Navigation Switch designed for various electronic devices. It offers a multi-directional momentary action with SP, N.O. contact arrangement and gullwing terminals suitable for SMT mounting.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum power rating of 1 VA, a maximum voltage of 24 V, and a maximum DC current of 50 mA. The switch also features a dielectric strength of 250 Vrms, an initial contact resistance of 200 mΩ, and an insulation resistance of 100 MΩ at 100 VDC. The bounce time is less than 10 ms.
Mechanically, the switch supports orthogonal 4-direction scanning and vertical push-down selection. The travel to make for orthogonal directions is 0.35 mm ±0.15 mm, and for push-to-select is 0.25 mm ±0.15 mm. Operating forces are 1.8 N ± 0.5 N for scanning and 4.0 N ± 0.8 N for push-to-select. The life expectancy is rated for 200,000 operations in each direction.
Environmentally, the switch operates and stores between -40°C to +85°C and has an IP50 rating. It is supplied on tape and reels with 1,000 pieces per reel, featuring a 330mm reel diameter. The process is suitable for infrared reflow soldering.
