The TPA2018D1YZFR from Texas Instruments is a versatile mono, filter-free Class-D audio power amplifier. It integrates dynamic range compression (DRC), automatic gain control (AGC), a limiter, and a noise gate, making it suitable for a wide range of audio applications.

This amplifier delivers up to 3 W into a 4 Ω load at 5 V and 880 mW into 8 Ω at 3.6 V. It operates from a flexible power supply range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V, with low supply current of 1.8 mA and a low shutdown current of 0.2 µA. The device features I²C programmability for DRC/AGC parameters and digital volume control, with selectable gain from -28 dB to 30 dB.
