The Power Integrations TOP247YN is an integrated off-line switcher belonging to the TOPSwitch-GX family. It cost-effectively integrates a high-voltage power MOSFET, PWM control, and fault protection circuitry onto a single CMOS chip.
This device features a wide power range, capable of delivering up to 165W. It operates with a voltage rating of 700V and a frequency range of 66kHz to 132kHz. The TOP247YN includes features like integrated soft-start, hysteretic thermal shutdown, and frequency jittering to reduce EMI.
Designed for flexibility and efficiency, it offers features such as externally programmable current limit and line under-voltage/over-voltage detection.
