The TMS320VC5510AGGW2 is a high-performance, low-power, fixed-point digital signal processor from Texas Instruments, based on the TMS320C55x architecture. It operates at clock rates of 160MHz or 200MHz, offering an instruction cycle time of 5-6.25 ns. This DSP integrates 344kB of on-chip RAM and 32kB of on-chip ROM, supporting up to 400 million multiply-accumulates per second (MMACS).

Designed for efficiency, the TMS320VC5510AGGW2 features programmable low-power control across six device functional domains. It includes a 32-bit external memory interface (EMIF) with glueless interface capabilities for various memory types like SRAM, SDRAM, and SBSRAM. On-chip peripherals include two 20-bit timers, a six-channel DMA controller, three multichannel buffered serial ports (McBSPs), and a 16-bit parallel enhanced host-port interface (EHPI).
