The processor features a 256-KB L2 cache and 64-KB RAM, along with 48-KB of Boot ROM. Connectivity options include EBI/EMI, Ethernet, I²C, McASP, McBSP, PCI, Serial ATA, SD/SDIO, SPI, UART, and USB interfaces. It supports DDR2 and DDR3 DRAM.

 

Designed for applications such as Video Security, Thin Client, Video Conferencing, and Video Phones, the TMS320DM8168BCYGA2 offers video acceleration with HDVICPs and configurable video resolution up to 1080p at 60 FPS.
