The Texas Instruments TMS320C6414TBGLZA7 is a powerful fixed-point Digital Signal Processor (DSP) from the TMS320C64x family, built on the VelociTI.2 extensions to the VelociTI architecture. It offers high performance with instruction cycle times as low as 1 ns and clock rates up to 720 MHz, delivering up to 5760 MIPS.

This DSP features an advanced Very-Long-Instruction-Word (VLIW) core with eight highly independent functional units, including six ALUs and two multipliers. It supports byte-addressable data access for 8-, 16-, 32-, and 64-bit data, along with features like 8-bit overflow protection and bit-field manipulation. The memory architecture includes 128 Kbit L1P program cache, 128 Kbit L1D data cache, and an 8 Mbit L2 unified mapped RAM/cache.

Connectivity is provided through multiple interfaces, including a Host Port Interface (HPI), Multichannel Buffered Serial Ports (McBSP), and a 32-bit/33-MHz PCI interface.
