The Texas Instruments TMS320C6414TBGLZ1 is a powerful fixed-point Digital Signal Processor (DSP) from the TMS320C64x family, featuring VelociTI.2 extensions. It offers a high clock rate of up to 1 GHz and can achieve up to 8000 MIPS, with instruction cycle times as low as 1 ns.

This DSP core is built on an Advanced Very-Long-Instruction-Word (VLIW) architecture, incorporating eight highly independent functional units. It includes six ALUs supporting 32/40-bit arithmetic and two multipliers capable of multiple 16x16-bit or 8x8-bit multiplications per clock cycle. The device features a non-aligned load-store architecture and 64 32-bit general-purpose registers, with instruction packing to reduce code size.
