On-chip memory includes 3 M-Bit of SRAM, divided into 2 M-Bit for program/cache and 1 M-Bit for dual-access data. It offers a 32-bit external memory interface (EMIF) with glueless compatibility for synchronous and asynchronous memories, supporting up to 52 M-Byte of addressable external memory space. Connectivity options include a 32-bit expansion bus (XBus) and three multichannel buffered serial ports (McBSPs).
