The TMS320C2834x Delfino microcontroller unit (MCU) from Texas Instruments builds upon the F2833x series, offering up to 300 MHz of floating-point performance and up to 516KB of on-chip RAM. Based on the C28x core, it ensures code compatibility with other C28x microcontrollers.

Key features include a high-performance 32-bit CPU with an IEEE 754 single-precision floating-point unit (FPU), 16x16 and 32x32 MAC operations, and a Harvard bus architecture for fast interrupt response. It boasts a six-channel DMA controller and a 16-bit or 32-bit external interface (XINTF) with over 2M x 16 address reach.
