The Olimex TMS320-XDS100-V2 is a high-speed USB 2.0 JTAG emulator and programmer based on the Texas Instruments XDS100v2 reference design. It is designed for programming, real-time emulation, and debugging of TMS320C28x, TMS320C54x, TMS320C55x, TMS320C64x+, TMS320C674x, TMS320C66x DSPs as well as ARM 9, Cortex R4, Cortex A8, Cortex A9, and Cortex M3 cores.
The emulator operates over a target voltage range of 1.65V to 5.0V and is powered entirely via USB, requiring no external power supply. It features cable-break detection, target power loss detection, and adaptive clocking. The board measures 50mm x 40mm and includes a 20cm USB cable.
Connectivity is provided through a standard 0.1" 2x10 pin JTAG connector with TI layout. The package includes a 2x7 pin TI JTAG adapter and a 2x10 pin ARM JTAG adapter for compatibility with a wide range of target boards. The emulator is compatible with Code Composer Studio 4.x, 5.x, and UniFlash software.
