The TMS-SCE-1K-1/4-2.0-4 is a heat shrinkable marker sleeve from TE Connectivity's TMS-SCE family. It is made from durable, flame retarded, radiation-crosslinked polyolefin in yellow color. The sleeve has an inside diameter of 6.4 mm (0.25 in) as supplied and a length of 50.0 mm (1.97 in).
This marker sleeve is designed for permanent wire and cable identification. It meets the performance requirements of SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 classes 1 and 3, MIL-M-81531, and MIL-STD-202 for mark permanence. The material is UL recognized with VW-1 flame rating and CSA certified. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +135°C with a minimum recovery temperature of +85°C.
The sleeves are computer-printable using dot matrix or thermal transfer printers and are supplied in a ladder format for easy handling. A standard heat gun with reflector is used to shrink the sleeve onto the wire or cable.
