The Texas Instruments TMP75AIDGKR is a digital temperature sensor designed for accurate temperature monitoring. It features an I2C and SMBus interface, making it compatible with a wide range of microcontrollers and systems. The sensor operates from -40°C to 125°C with a typical accuracy of ±1°C and a maximum accuracy of ±2°C within this range.
This device offers user-selectable resolutions from 9 to 12 bits, with a maximum resolution of 0.0625°C. It supports multiple features such as ALERT, NIST traceability, one-shot conversion, output switch, programmable resolution, shutdown mode, and standby mode. The supply voltage range is from 2.7V to 5.5V, with a low quiescent current of 50µA and 0.1µA in standby.
The TMP75AIDGKR is available in an 8-VSSOP package and is suitable for surface mount applications. It is designed as an ideal replacement for NTC and PTC thermistors, offering high linearity without the need for complex calculations or external signal conditioning. The sensor can support up to eight devices on a single bus.
This digital temperature sensor is well-suited for various applications requiring accurate and reliable temperature monitoring, including industrial control systems, consumer electronics, and automotive applications where precise thermal management is critical.
