The Texas Instruments TMP6131QDYARQ1 is an Automotive Grade linear thermistor designed for precise temperature sensing applications. It features a nominal resistance of 10 kΩ at 25°C with a tight tolerance of ±1% across the 0°C to 70°C range. This silicon-based thermistor offers a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) and a linear resistance change across its operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
With a consistent sensitivity of 6400 ppm/°C at 25°C and a typical TCR tolerance of 0.2%, the TMP6131QDYARQ1 ensures accurate measurements. It boasts a fast thermal response time of 0.6 seconds and is built for long lifetime and robust performance, including a fail-safe feature for short-circuit failures. The device is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified and AEC-Q200 tested, making it suitable for demanding automotive environments.
Available in SOT-5X3, SC-79, SOD-523, and through-hole TO-92S packages, this surface-mount thermistor is designed for applications such as thermal compensation in display backlights and battery management systems, as well as thermal threshold detection in motor control and power converters.
