The TMP122AMDBVTEP from Texas Instruments is an enhanced product digital temperature sensor featuring an SPI-compatible interface and an alert function. It is designed for accurate temperature measurements, offering ±1.5°C accuracy from -25°C to 85°C and ±2.0°C from -55°C to 125°C. The sensor supports programmable resolution from 9 to 12 bits plus sign, and programmable high/low setpoints.
With a wide supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and low quiescent current of 50 µA, the TMP122AMDBVTEP is suitable for low-power applications. It can operate up to 150°C. The sensor is housed in a tiny SOT-23-6 package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs. Applications include power-supply temperature monitoring, computer peripheral thermal protection, battery management, and environmental monitoring.
