The TMP117AIDRVR from Texas Instruments is a high-precision digital temperature sensor designed for accurate temperature monitoring. It boasts an accuracy of ±0.1°C from –20°C to 50°C, extending to ±0.3°C from –55°C to 150°C. With its I2C and SMBus-compatible interface, the TMP117AIDRVR supports up to four devices on a single bus. It offers a 16-bit resolution, providing detailed temperature readings. The device includes programmable temperature alert limits and selectable averaging for flexible system integration. It also features a digital offset for system correction and 48 bits of general-purpose EEPROM.
This digital temperature sensor is suitable for applications requiring precise temperature measurements, such as electronic thermometers, wireless environmental sensors, and cold chain asset tracking. It is designed to meet medical-grade standards, including ASTM E1112 and ISO 80601-2-56.
