The TMP06ARTZ-500RL7 is a monolithic digital temperature sensor manufactured by Analog Devices. It generates a modulated serial digital output (PWM) that is directly proportional to the device's temperature. This sensor is designed for a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C, with typical accuracy of ±2°C from 0°C to 70°C and ±5°C over the full range.
The device operates from a supply voltage of 3V to 5.5V and has a maximum power consumption of 70μW at 3.3V. The output is CMOS-/TTL-compatible, and the TMP06 variant features a flexible open-drain output capable of sinking 5 mA. It is available in small, low-cost packages, including the 5-lead SOT-23 and SC-70 variants.
Applications for the TMP06ARTZ-500RL7 include isolated sensors, environmental control systems, computer thermal monitoring, thermal protection, industrial process control, and power-system monitors. Its digital output is easily interfaced with microprocessors. The sensor supports one-shot mode operation.
This surface mount component is supplied in a SOT-23-5 package. It is specified for operation over the -40°C to 150°C temperature range.
