This IC is designed for signaling rates up to 3 Gbps and supports HDMI 1.3a specifications, including resolutions above 1920x1200 and HDTV up to 1080p with 16-bit color depth. It incorporates adaptive equalization on inputs to ensure signal integrity over HDMI cables up to 20 meters at 2.25 Gbps for 1080p 12-bit color depth. The device operates on a 3.3-volt power supply and features a low-power mode consuming less than 2 mW.

 

Packaged in a 64-TQFP (10x10) format, the TMDS361BPAGR is designed for surface mount applications. It offers enhanced ESD protection with HBM ratings of 10 kV on all input TMDS, DDC I2C, and HPD pins. Control can be managed via local I²C or GPIO configurations. This switch is suitable for applications such as High-Definition Digital TVs, LCD, Plasma, and DLP displays.
