The TMC2209-LA-T from Trinamic Motion Control GmbH is an ultra-silent motor driver IC designed for two-phase bipolar stepper motors. It operates within a voltage range of 4.75V to 29V DC and can handle coil currents up to 2A RMS or 2.8A peak. This integrated circuit features a STEP/DIR interface with advanced microstepping capabilities up to 1/256 via MicroPlyer™ interpolation, enabling smooth and precise motor control.
