The Traco Power TMA 2412D is a miniature, isolated 1W DC/DC converter from the TMA series. It provides dual regulated outputs of +12 VDC and -12 VDC, each capable of delivering 42 mA. The input voltage range is 21.6 to 26.4 VDC with a nominal 24 VDC. Typical efficiency is 79%.
This converter is housed in a 6-SIP module with 5 leads and through-hole mounting, requiring only 1.2 cm² of board space. It features 1000 VDC input-to-output isolation and includes short circuit protection (SCP). Output ripple and noise are typically 50 mVp-p (75 mVp-p maximum) under 20 MHz bandwidth.
