The Traco Power TMA 1515D is a miniature, isolated 1W DC/DC converter in a Single-In-Line (SIP) package. It accepts a 15V nominal input (13.5V to 16.5V range) and provides dual regulated outputs of +15V and -15V at 34mA each, making it ideal for powering analog circuits requiring a split supply. The module features 1000VDC input-to-output isolation and a typical efficiency of 80%.
This converter is designed for commercial ITE applications and offers short circuit protection (SCP). It operates over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range with derating. The 6-SIP package (19.5mm x 6.1mm x 10.2mm) with through-hole mounting allows for compact board-level power distribution.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum ripple and noise of 75mVp-p, voltage set accuracy of ±3%, and an input filter using internal capacitors. The module requires a minimum load of 2% of Iout max for proper regulation and can drive capacitive loads up to 100µF per output.
